Welcome all UQ students! Here you are finally going to UQ at St Lucia.

We here at Swts have been working with students for many years to welcome them to Brisbane and get them settled in. Below is a bit of quick info to help with your stay but any Q's you need just ask Harry or Kelly. They are the Student Accommodation specialists in Brisbane!

How to get to uni from Somewhere to Stay? Well that is easy. Our free bus shuttle runs hourly to the Cultural center busway. From there you can take a quick 10 min ride on the 109 bus straight to the UQ Campus. It leaves every 15 minutes.

If your feel like a relaxing boat road to UQ, ask or bus driver to point you in the direction of the ferry. It leaves every 15 mins and drops you off at UQ's doorstep.

If your feeling energetic it only takes 15 mins to walk to the bus stop or ferry stop from our hostel.

We have also developed a special student handbook for all new students staying with us. When you arrive ask for one. Its free and gives you all the info you need to find a place to live, more transport and hints and tips for student newcomers.

Weather you go to Kelvin Grove, or Gardens Point, it is very easy to get there from our Hostel.

Our free bus shuttle runs hourly to the Cultural Center. This is a great drop of point for both Kelvin Grove and Gardens Point. The 333 or 345 bus heads straight to kelvin grove every 10 mins. You can also walk over the Goodwill Bridge right into Gardens Point from our bus stop. For pickups please ring us on our free phone number 1800 812398 as we can collect you from the same spot at around 5 past the hour.

To walk into the city centre from SWTS is only 25 minutes, or 10 minutes to Southbank.
